Biosketch (approx. 100 words)

 

Faculty in the Department of Chemistry since 1992. She has more than 60 Full-length papers published in national and international journals, and paper & poster presentations in more than 50 conferences & seminars. She has successfully completed research supervision of 6 Ph.D. students. Presently, she has 7 Research Scholars working in diverse fields. She was the Principal Investigator of a sponsored R&D Project: Ternary Complexes of Transition Metal Ions with Novel Biomolecular like Kojic Acid & L-Amino acid: Synthesis & Study of Physicochemical Properties and their Bio-efficacy. She has been awarded “Woman of the Year 1998.” By The American Biographical Institute, North Carolina, USA.
