Bio Sketch
Ajay Kumar Kataria is currently working as Assistant Professor in Division of Biological Sciences & Engineering, NSUT (erstwhile NSIT), Dwarka Sector 3, New Delhi since 2014. He has done his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Biotechnology whereas he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Department of Biological Sciences and Engineering (BSE), NSUT. His area of research is Algal Oil based value added product synthesis.
He also has research experience of working in the field of Molecular Biology in Bacterial Immune System more profoundly known as CRISPR-CAS system. After completing his M.Tech. (2012), he got associated with IBM India Pvt. Ltd where he worked for more than two (02) years with clients like GSK, Amgen etc. who are amongst the pioneers of Biotechnology Industry.
Administratively, he has worked as Co-ordinator Foundation Elective Courses, Member B.E./B.Tech. Admission Committee at University/Institute Level and Coordinator Training & Placement (BSE), Academic Counsellor at Department Level.
