Bio-sketch

Dr. Vijay Gupta is Professor and Head of Mathematics Department. Earlier also, he worked as head Department of Mathematics, NSIT (now Netaji Subhas University of Technology), New Delhi during Dec. 2013-Feb 2018. A Ph.D from University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee). His area of research interest is Approximation Theory, especially he works on linear positive operators. He is the author/co-author of six books, sixteen book chapters and over 360 research papers. He is also actively involved in editing several international scientific research journals, also he edited several books. The present h-index (as per google scholar) is 47.
