Bio-Sketch

Dr. G. Vedabouriswaran, has been recruited by UPSC for the post of Lecturer in Mechanical Engg of erstwhile Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research (AIACTR), Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi and joined the service in 2007.  He did his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engg from Pondicherry Engineering College, Master of Technology in Design of Mechanical Systems from IIT Delhi and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi. 
He has been conferred with “Distinction in Doctoral Research” for being the overall best researcher at IIT Delhi which is a greatest accolade awarded to him.
To his credentials, he has publications in SCIE journals of high impact factor.
Being the only faculty in Mechanical Engg at AIACTR, he has been proactive and instrumental in the conceptualization and erection of various new labs and workshops at AIACTR as per the curriculum requirements. He performed several administrative duties and responsibilities assigned to him from time to time since 2007. During his tenure as In charge of Exam Cell of AIACTR, he has conducted all India level entrance exams for GGSIPU, Jamia Millia Islamia and NIMCET exams.
His areas of research interest are Mg alloys, surface composites, material characterizations, tribology, wear and corrosion.
