Bio-sketch
Dr. Vinod Kumar is currently working as Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Physics, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Dwarka, New Delhi. He had done doctorate degree from National Physical Laboratory, Delhi. Earlier he had worked as Assistant Professor at DCRUST, Murthal from 2010 to 2021. He has been working in the field of nano- materials specially on the synthesis, properties and device applications of nano-magnetic particles and ferrofluids in energy and sensor devices.
Dr. Kumar has published more than 100 International Journals publications and 5 patents. Six students have completed their Ph.D. degree in his supervision and four more are going on. He had received research awards from National Physical Laboratory, International Union of Radio Sciences, INSA, and NSUT. He has been actively involved in the research projects granted from various funding agencies like DST, UGC, UGC-DAE etc. His research work has good industrial applications.
